Plant Care
Ginseng
Ginseng Ficus is a striking bonsai-style plant with bulbous roots that resemble ginseng and a canopy of small, glossy green leaves. Though often grown as a bonsai, it’s much easier to care for than traditional bonsai trees. It brings a sculptural, artistic vibe to desks and tabletops, thriving indoors with minimal fuss. This hardy plant is perfect for both beginners and experienced plant lovers who want a low-maintenance bonsai look.
Watering
Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy—avoid letting it fully dry out or stay overly wet. Reduce watering in winter.
Light
Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate moderate light but avoid low light or full, harsh sun, which may scorch leaves.
Fertilizer
Feed once or twice a month during spring and summer with a diluted liquid houseplant fertilizer. Skip feeding during fall and winter.
Temperature
Thrives in 60–85°F (15–29°C). Avoid cold drafts or temperatures below 55°F (13°C).
